According to MicroStrategy, Le will continue his duties as both president and CEO \u201chandling day-to-day execution of the company\u2019s corporate strategies\u201d while Saylor will focus on \u201cBitcoin acquisition strategy and related Bitcoin advocacy initiatives\u201d in his role as executive chair.<\/p>\n<p>MicroStrategy reported it held more than 129,699 Bitcoin (BTC) \u2014 worth roughly $2 billion after considering the company\u2019s cumulative impairment losses \u2014 as of June 30, with total revenues for the second quarter of 2022 coming in at $122.1 million compared with $119.3 million in the first quarter. The business intelligence firm disclosed to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission that it had acquired 480 BTC for $10 million in June.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Related: <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>BTC bull Michael Saylor: Ethereum is \u2018obviously\u2019 a security<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Amid the market downturn in June \u2014 in which the price of Bitcoin fell under $18,000 \u2014 Saylor said MicroStrategy would \u201ccontinue to HODL through adversity,&#8221; adding that the firm had prepared for volatility and structured its balance sheet accordingly. According to the soon-to-be former CEO, this strategy will <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/saylor\/status\/1523996525151539203\">allow<\/a> MicroStrategy to post collateral even \u201cif the price of BTC falls below $3,562\u201d \u2014 an event that h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ened briefly during the market crash in March 2020.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>&#8216;Nothing issue&#8217; \u2014 MicroStrategy CEO plans to hodl Bitcoin &#8216;through adversity&#8217;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Investment banking firm Jefferies reported on July 26 that it had downgraded MicroStrategy&#8217;s stock to underperform from hold, with a price target of $180.
