Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">theme<\/a> park is hit by severe thunderstorms.<\/figcaption><figcaption><span class=\"credit\">TikTok<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-tiktok wp-block-embed-tiktok\"\/>\n<p>One <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@roadwarriors4life\/video\/7127100561505226030?referer_url=https%3A%2F%2Finsidethemagic.net%2F&amp;referer_video_id=7127100561505226030&amp;refer=embed&amp;referer_url=https:\/\/insidethemagic.net\/2022\/08\/brutal-thunderstorm-severe-flooding-epcot-jc1\/\">video<\/a> from a Disney World guest revealed an ominous, darkened sky flickering, as lightning signaled an impending bout of heavy rain on the park Tuesday evening. <\/p>\n<p>Another customer caught the <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@waltdisneyworldparks\/video\/7127106187719347499?referer_url=https%3A%2F%2Finsidethemagic.net%2F&amp;referer_video_id=7127106187719347499&amp;refer=embed&amp;referer_url=https:\/\/insidethemagic.net\/2022\/08\/brutal-thunderstorm-severe-flooding-epcot-jc1\/\">aftermath of the storm on camera,<\/a> capturing a river of murky, brown water at Disney World\u2019s Epcot. <\/p>\n<p>Disney World guests captured visitors trudging through the stagnant water, past abandoned strollers, while others took cover. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-tiktok wp-block-embed-tiktok\"\/>\n<p>The Magic Kingdom was also hit, with one guest <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@catherinepreshus0\/video\/7127128822549417222?referer_url=https%3A%2F%2Finsidethemagic.net%2F&amp;referer_video_id=7127128822549417222&amp;refer=embed&amp;referer_url=https:\/\/insidethemagic.net\/2022\/08\/brutal-thunderstorm-severe-flooding-epcot-jc1\/\">posting a video<\/a> of herself sheltering until the thunder, lightning and downpour subsided.<\/p>\n<p>Although flash floods are common in Florida, one guest commented on the video that the storms have been unusually bad this summer. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis went on all night, the rain and thunder subsided but then it was crazy lightning all night,\u201d the user wrote.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-tiktok wp-block-embed-tiktok\"\/>\n<p>Inside the Magic also <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/insidethemagic.net\/2022\/08\/brutal-thunderstorm-severe-flooding-epcot-jc1\/\">captured drenched guests<\/a> adorned with plastic ponchos fleeing the park as lighting flashed in the sky above. The blog noted that Disney World is in for worse flooding in the future. <\/p>\n<p>Rainfall in Florida has jumped 28% since 1958, according to the\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.epa.gov\/sites\/default\/files\/2016-08\/documents\/climate-change-fl.pdf\">Environmental Protection Agency<\/a>, and that trend is only expected to continue, the site said.\n                        <\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
