But they were always hoping to avoid SEC scrutiny.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Twitter users then posted screenshots showing Coinbase\u2019s stock price soar by more than 16% on Thursday to above $106 a share. <\/p>\n<p>Coinbase was trading at around $92 a share on Friday. In the last five days, the company\u2019s stock has risen by more than 50%.<\/p>\n<p>The crypto exchange announced on Thursday that it has entered into a partnership with investment giant BlackRock, the world\u2019s largest asset manager, which will allow its institutional clients to buy digital currencies such as bitcoin.<\/p>\n<p>The sharp rise in Coinbase stock price prompted critics on Twitter to dunk on Cramer.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"\/>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t care if a company is the next Amazon.
