Musk responded by filing his countersuit.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignright\">\n    <\/aside>\n<p>Musk\u2019s attorneys argued that Twitter\u2019s own disclosures revealed that it has 65 million fewer \u201cmonetizable daily active users,\u201d who can be shown digital ads, than the 238 million that Twitter claims, the Post and the Journal reported.<\/p>\n<p>The filing also said most of Twitter\u2019s ads are shown only to a sliver of the company\u2019s user base, the Post said.<\/p>\n<p>In an unexpected twist, Twitter filed its response denying Musk\u2019s accusations before Musk\u2019s own counterclaims surfaced.<\/p>\n<p>Twitter called Musk\u2019s reasoning \u201ca story, imagined in an effort to escape a merger agreement that Musk no longer found attractive.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The case is scheduled to go to trial on October 17.\n                        <\/p><\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
