Sources told<em> E! News<\/em> that Kim and Pete have a lot of \u201clove and respect for each other\u201d and want to remain friends \u2013 but the long distance and their busy schedules ultimately made it really difficult to maintain a relationship.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Related: Kim &amp; Kanye \u2018Co-Parenting In Healthy Way\u2019 Amid Divorce<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The news seemingly came out of nowhere for many people, especially since multiple reports expressed how in love Kim and Pete were despite being far apart from each other as the co<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a>n is filming in Australia for <em>Wizards!<\/em> And even though <em>Us Weekly<\/em> reported just a couple of days ago that \u201cthe distance has been hard,\u201d they seemed to be making it work by being in \u201cconstant communication\u201d with each other. So no wonder many Kete shippers are scratching their heads over what went wrong! Now, new details have come out to shed some more light as to why they <em>really<\/em> split!<\/p>\n<p>According to <em>Page Six<\/em>, an insider claimed that Kim broke up with Pete due to their age difference and the fact that they are at different stages in their life, making it difficult for them to have a long-term relationship. They explained:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cPete is 28 and Kim is 41 \u2014 they are just in very different places at the moment. Pete is totally spontaneous and impulsive and wants her to fly to New York, or wherever he is on a moment\u2019s notice. But Kim has four kids and it isn\u2019t that easy. She needs to focus on the kids.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Understandable! And not to mention the fact that they were not on the same page when it comes to having children. While Pete said it was his \u201cdream\u201d to become a father during an <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>earance on <em>Hart to Heart<\/em>,\u00a0<em>The Sun<\/em> shared that Kim \u201ctold friends she does not want another baby right now.\u201d And that alone did not exactly make us hopeful about the future of the relationship\u2026<\/p>\n<p>While Pete is busy with his career as an actor and comedian, Kim has a ton of responsibilities in addition to being a momma, such as running multiple businesses and starring on <strong>Hulu<\/strong>\u2018s reality show <em>The Kardashians<\/em>. The source noted that she was \u201ctotally exhausted by this relationship and other things going on in her life\u201d before the split. Adding on to the stress, we all know that their love story did not exactly run smoothly \u2013 mostly because her ex-husband<strong> Kanye West<\/strong> was less than thrilled seeing her with Pete. As the <em>Page Six <\/em>insider puts it:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWhen Kim is with someone else, Kanye can cause problems with the kids. He tries to divide and conquer. He can\u2019t help it. Kim is a really dedicated mother, and her kids will always come first.
