utility company<br \/>\n        EOAN,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/206607864\/delayed\" class=\"negative\">-1.07%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       said it booked a quarterly net profit of 1.43 billion euros ($1.46 billion), down from EUR1.75 billion in the year-earlier period.<\/p>\n<div class=\"paywall\">\n       Adjusted earnings before interest and taxes were EUR1.28 billion compared with EUR1.51 billion the previous year, while sales for the quarter rose to EUR23.34 billion from EUR14.64 billion.<\/p>\n<p>E.ON backed
