the website in 2020 \u201ccaused negligent infliction of emotional distress.\u201d <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/jezebel.com\/talib-kweli-is-suing-jezebel-over-emotional-distress-fo-1849390843\">Jezebel<\/a> itself reports that Kweli&#8217;s lawsuit names Jezebel alongside parent company G\/O <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Media<\/a> plus Ashley Reese, the journalist who wrote the piece titled: <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/jezebel.com\/talib-kwelis-harassment-campaign-shows-how-unprotected-1844483551\">&#8220;Talib Kweli\u2019s Harassment Campaign Shows How Unprotected Black Women Are Online and Off.&#8221;<\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 20px; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<p>            Reese&#8217;s article was written after Kweli was suspended from Twitter and highlighted the r<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>er\u2019s social media interactions with and about 24-year-old student and activist Maya Moody.<\/p>\n<p>            In response, Kweli (representing himself under his legal name Talib Kweli Greene) claims he &#8220;never harassed anyone; he was defending himself and his family.&#8221; He says that the article pushed him \u201cinto a depression state of loss of appetite, sleeplessness, edgy, anxiety, and discomfort around certain women due to being targeted by this defendant.\u201d He is seeking $300,000 in damages with the figure drawn from an alleged loss of earnings linked to the Jezebel story. <\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 20px; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<p>            \u201cBecause of the facts and circumstances stated above, the defendant has cost Mr. Greene almost $1 Million in revenue. In addition, Mr. Greene gets $25,000.00 per appearance within 24 months totaling $600,000.00. During the last 24 months, besides Covid, Mr. Greene has been getting backlash from the article and has lost 50% of his salary, costing him $300,000.00.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>            In a G\/O Media statement shared by Jezebel, a spokesperson wrote: &#8220;Jezebel\u2019s article fairly reported on the controversy which led to the permanent suspension of Talib Kweli\u2019s Twitter account.
