The traumatizing experience distances the two and leaves Becky resorting to booze. Together, they set off on their climb and successfully make it to the top, though, fail to realize that the ladder is no longer secure. Bolts have fallen out from holding the ladder in place, and they have no practical way to return to the ground. Out of cell phone range and with no other ability to call for help, Becky and Hunter look for any means possible to survive.<br \/>\n<!-- Zone: character count repeatable. --><\/p>\n<div class=\"adsninja-ad-zone\" id=\"adsninja-ad-zone-MW-Reg-Org\">\n<div id=\"dynamically-injected-refresh-ad-zone-MW-Reg-Org\" class=\"dynamically-injected-refresh-ad-zone\">\n<div class=\"ad-current\">\n<div id=\"ad-zone-container-MW-Reg-Org\" class=\"ad-zone-container ad-zone-container-content-character-count-repeatable-1\" data-no-fill-collapsable=\"false\"><strong class=\"ad-zone-advertising-tag\">MOVIEWEB VIDEO OF THE DAY<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><em><strong>Fall<\/strong><\/em> does an excellent job of translating the real sensation of being at heights to the screen, of which fear served as an inspiration point for director <strong>Scott Mann<\/strong> when coming up with the movie.<br \/>\n <!-- No winning ad found for zone: native in content! --><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"inspiration-for-fall\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Inspiration_for_Fall\"><\/span> Inspiration for Fall<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>\u201cThe inspiration was personally being scared of heights, like a lot of people I think,\u201d explained Mann, \u201cit actually started when myself and Jonathan Frank, the co-writer, were shooting a sequence for another movie in London on top of a football stadium. And even though we were getting a spectacle for the movie, it was actually where we stood on this kind of small space looking straight down that I remember thinking, \u2018heights hasn\u2019t really been done fully in a film yet.\u2019 There\u2019s never been something purely focused on that fear, and that fear is in all of us.\u201d<br \/>\n<!-- Zone: character count repeatable. --><br \/>\n <!-- No winning ad found for zone: word count #2! --><br \/>\nMann continued, discussing the various iterations of the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">script<\/a> before reaching the final product audiences can see on screen. \u201cIt was really interesting to write\u2026 it became a question of how it plays out. There\u2019s an element of play and what\u2019s the story behind it, like the characters, so that you want to go on that journey with them\u2026 but we wrote ourselves into the corner like, \u2018Okay, you\u2019re stuck.\u2019 Now what do we do? And it was really a lot of hard thinking about if your life depended on it, how do we get out of this situation? Of course, that comes with plenty of challenges considering that the talent would have to climb up and down the tower, affecting communication between them and Mann, and more.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis film is a testament to what someone once said to me, \u2018how difficult the film is to do is often in line with how well it turns out.\u2019 And I would say if it turns out as well as how difficult it was to do, that\u2019s okay because it was really hard,\u201d said Mann.<\/p>\n<p>Outside of the glaring difficulties associated with the tower, there are also buzzards in the film that stalk Becky and Hunter at the top of the tower and interact with them. \u201cThey just don\u2019t take screen direction,\u201d laughed Mann, \u201cwe had to put pieces of meat in clothing and things. It was very hard and time-consuming. It was definitely the most difficult single element to get right because you couldn\u2019t fake it, especially when you\u2019re up close with them. It\u2019s got to be real. Though, there are other elements present in the film that are sure to speak to viewers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think at the core of it, there\u2019s an element of grief after losing someone, and then climbing up and rising up again. I think there\u2019s a resonance, a personal part, but a wider bit I would say as much about what we\u2019ve been through the last couple of years as a world. We\u2019ve kind of all been through this traumatic experience, and I think we\u2019re all looking to climb out of that. I think weirdly having the escapism of a trauma-type movie like this, that then pumps you on the other side with a message that heals you, I think that\u2019s what people can really take from it\u2026 it\u2019s a heart-stopper with a big heart (laughs)\u2026 that\u2019s the thing that resonates,\u201d explained Mann.<br \/>\n<!-- Zone: character count repeatable. --><br \/>\n <!-- No winning ad found for zone: word count #5! --><br \/>\n\u201cWe set about making this film to be for the theater to its fullest\u2026 that\u2019s what led us down the IMAX route and having this full soundscape, and the design and what not.
