in recent days rumors have circulated that such financial terms are partially dubious.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Their validity came into question Tuesday, during a hearing for three LIV golfers currently suspended by the PGA Tour who sought emergency relief to compete in the tour\u2019s FedEx Cup Playoffs.<\/p>\n<p>Beth Labson Freeman, the judge for the case, noted that the contracts given by the Saudi-backed golf league calls for im<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a>te payments \u201csimply for showing up for the first tournament.\u201d Robert Waters, the players\u2019 attorney, seemed to insinuate otherwise, however.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWell, they do, but then they have to win money in order to recoup against the contract, so they are a little bit different,\u201d Waters explained.<\/p>\n<p>LIV Golf, though, abruptly shut down the idea that players receive prize money only if the amount tops their guaranteed pay.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" rel=\"noopener\">script<\/a> from the proceedings [Tuesday], but it seems there is a misunderstanding regarding prize purses,\u2019\u2019 Atul Khosla, president and chief operating officer of LIV Golf, said in a memo. \u201cThis issue is simple, and we\u2019ve addressed it before. Prize money is of course separate from the contractual monies that players earn. As you already know, prize money is not subtracted from a player\u2019s contractual earnings. That\u2019s all there is to it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe maintain that every player\u2019s contract is separate from prize money,\u201d <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.si.com\/golf\/news\/liv-golf-denies-claim-that-players-arent-receiving-prize-money\">a LIV spokesperson also told Sports Illustrated<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this summer, at LIV\u2019s tournament outside Portland, Ore., Brooks Koepka, among others, were also asked whether their tournament winnings counted against the moneey they received for joining the league and they said that was not the case.  \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the three players \u2014 Talor Gooch, Hudson Swafford and Matt Jones \u2014 did not receive a temporary injunction.\n                        <\/p><\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
