We\u2019ll explain why you should use it and how to remove it if it\u2019s enabled.<\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_is_Downtime_on_iPhone\"><\/span>What is Downtime on iPhone?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>\u201cDowntime\u201d was introduced with iOS 12 in 2018, and it was further enhanced in iOS and iPadOS 15. It\u2019s part of <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">App<\/a>le\u2019s suite of tools that can limit notifications and block distractions, like Focus Mode, Screen Time, and App Limits.<\/p>\n<p>The Downtime feature is sort of a combination of those other tools. Focus Mode is great for limiting notifications, and App Limits can curb your app usage. Downtime accomplishes both of these things. You decide who can contact you and which apps can be used.<\/p>\n<p>The Downtime feature is mainly intended to be used on a schedule. A common example would be having it enabled overnight to help you detach from your phone before bedtime and block notifications while you sleep.
