While the previous spinoff, <em>The Boys Presents: Diabolical<\/em>, was an animated show, this new spinoff will be live-action with all of the mayhem fans have come to expect from the parent series, but with an all-new cast of characters. Serving as a parody of the X-Men, the spinoff has been dubbed <strong><em>Gen V<\/em><\/strong> and is currently shooting under the code name <em>Varsity<\/em>.<br \/>\n <!-- No winning ad found for zone: word count #1! --><!-- No winning ad found for zone: below first paragraph! --><!-- No winning ad found for zone: mid intro! --><br \/>\nOn <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitter<\/a>, @Justin3ric shared a video taken from near the set providing an early look at a filming location. The brief clip shows a restaurant with several posters on the side displaying A-Train (Jessie T. Usher) promoting his products. Of course, both characters could very well show up, but it&#8217;s unclear at this time exactly which characters from the parent series will be appearing in <em>Gen V<\/em>. Showrunner Eric Kripke has previously teased that there will be some crossovers to watch out for.<br \/>\n <!-- No winning ad found for zone: word count #2! --><br \/>\n&#8220;There\u2019s definitely crossover, and we\u2019re doing our best to design a universe that sees some of the issues and storylines in season 3 hand off to the first season in<em> Varsity<\/em>,&#8221; Kripke told <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2022\/07\/the-boys-spoilers-season-3-donald-trump-alexandria-ocasio-cortez-eric-kripke-interiew-black-noir-1235060686\/\">Deadline<\/a>. &#8220;Like there\u2019s a presidential campaign happening in the background of that season, and there\u2019s certain things that are happening at that school that are both in reaction to season 3 of <em>The Boys<\/em>. The spinoff series follows a group of superheroes in training, still learning how to best use their abilities, much like the mutants in the X-Men under the guidance of Professor X.
