She reportedly will <em>not<\/em> be included in the late film star\u2019s funeral.<\/p>\n<p>As we reported, the <em>Volcano<\/em> actress passed away on Friday following a fiery car crash in Los Angeles the week before. She suffered severe burns and a brain injury after her vehicle struck a home in Mar Vista which was lit on fire. The 53-year-old was declared brain dead on Friday \u2014 which is legally dead according to California law \u2014 and was taken off of life support on Sunday when an organ recipient was found.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Related: South Carolina Woman Dies After Being Impaled By A Beach Umbrella<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Now, according to insiders who spoke to <em>Radar Online <\/em>on Monday, Anne\u2019s family is set to grieve her loss at a funeral this week \u2014 with one very famous figure left off the guest list. A source shared:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cAnne\u2019s funeral will be this week and Ellen will not be invited. It\u2019s just close family and friends. It will be small and private.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Despite the former talk show host\u2019s kind public statements amid Anne\u2019s medical emergency and untimely death, the pair were not in contact with each other in recent years. So if it\u2019s just those \u201cclose\u201d to Anne, it\u2019s not surprising she won\u2019t be invited to the funeral. The source continued:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cEllen felt the need to say something after Anne died. They hadn\u2019t spoken in years but given what their relationship meant to so many people around the world, she understands why she had to speak out.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>On Friday, Ellen took to her<strong> Instagram Story<\/strong> with a heartfelt (though short) message of love and support to the Heche family, writing:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThis is a sad day. I\u2019m sending Anne\u2019s children, family, and friends all my love.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Ellen and Anne dated for three years from 1997 to 2000, going public with their relationship just four months after the co<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a>n came out. While Anne\u2019s film career was just about to take off, she ultimately lost out on deals because of how high-profile (and, unfortunately, controversial) her relationship was at the time. In 2020, she told <em>Page Six<\/em>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cIt changed my life forever. The stigma attached to that relationship was so bad \u2026 I didn\u2019t do a studio picture for 10 years. I was fired from a $10 million picture deal.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Last year during an episode of her podcast <em>Better Together<\/em>, the <em>Donnie Brasco<\/em>\u00a0star opened up further about why they called things off, saying:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI broke up with her because her goal was to have a lot of money. Mine was to find love, and hers was, \u2018I want $60 billion.\u2019 Good, good luck; our forks are never going to meet.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Not only did her romance with Ellen completely sidetrack her career, but their breakup became another front-page headline that only tore them apart further. No wonder Ellen won\u2019t be invited! Though it\u2019s unclear if she would have wanted to show up in the first place.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Related: Insecure Star Denise Dowse Dead At 64 After Meningitis Battle<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>While details about Anne\u2019s funeral have been kept private, those in her close circle have been very open about the devastating loss, specifically her children\u2019s fathers. Anne shared son <strong>Homer<\/strong> <strong>Laffoon<\/strong>, 20, with <strong>Coleman Laffoon<\/strong>, and<strong> Atlas Heche Tupper<\/strong>, 13, with <strong>James Tupper<\/strong>. Both men have taken to social media to mourn their ex, James first wrote:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cLove you forever\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Coleman added on his social media feed:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cIn the wake of Anne\u2019s passing, I just wanted to say a few things. One, I loved her and I miss her and I\u2019m always going to. Two, Homer is OK. He\u2019s grieving, of course, and it\u2019s rough. It\u2019s really rough, as probably anybody can imagine, but he\u2019s surrounded by family, and he\u2019s strong, and he\u2019s going to be OK. So for all those people checking in, thank you for checking in, showing us your heart, offering prayers and everything. It\u2019s so beautiful. Thank you. It\u2019s hard for me, it\u2019s hard for my family, it\u2019s really hard for Homer, but we\u2019ve got each other and we have a lot of support and we\u2019re going to be OK.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Such a sad, sad loss for all those who loved Anne!<\/p>\n<p>No word yet on whether any of her other exes, including most recently <em>Hung<\/em> co-star\u00a0<strong>Thomas Jane<\/strong>, will be in attendance at the memorial.<\/p>\n<p>As mentioned, Anne\u2019s death comes after a <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> of car crashes in the LA area. The <strong>LAPD<\/strong> was investigating for a felony DUI \u2013 and found she had cocaine and possibly fentanyl in her system at the time of the crash \u2013 but they have since stopped their investigation.
