Scion added 501,360 shares of Geo Group, a Florida-based company that invests in and operates private prisons, that were worth $3.3 million. Burry <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2022-08-15\/burry-s-scion-hedge-fund-cuts-long-us-stock-holdings-to-just-one\">declined Bloomberg\u2019s request<\/a> for comment.<\/p>\n<p>Large hedge funds are required to disclose their holdings in publicly traded companies each quarter through 13-F filings.
