The mother spoke with <em>WSAZ<\/em> where she revealed that her daughter was just about to begin her last year of elementary school when she received a mysterious text from the young girl\u2019s father, asking:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cDo you want to talk to your daughter one last time?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To which she responded:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWhat do you mean one last time?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Terrifying.\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After exchanging a few messages back and forth, she said the father \u2014 <strong>Stacy Collins<\/strong> \u2014 and Stacia herself went \u201cdead silent,\u201d adding:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cIt\u2019s unlike her to not have her cellphone on her. She always has her cellphone, loves her cellphone.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Related: Rapist Escapes From Prison On A JET SKI With Help From Mom &amp; Sis\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The worried mother then made some additional calls with the hopes of assuring her daughter\u2019s safety, reaching out to the school only to find that her little girl hadn\u2019t been there all day \u2014 and that she had actually missed the first two days of class! Police later responded to reports of an assault, where they found Stacia\u2019s father suffering from what they believe to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The Johnson County Sheriff\u2019s Office then explained in a statement:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cExtending from the initial investigation, deputies discovered that Mr Collins\u2019 12-year-old daughter was missing. After exhausting numerous leads in an attempt to locate the juvenile, the JCSO in conjunction with Emergency Management Director <strong>Gary McClure<\/strong> began assembling search crews in an attempt to locate the juvenile. The search was to initially concentrate in the area that Mr Collins was found. Sadly, with public assistance, the juvenile was soon located but was deceased.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Absolutely tragic and unexplainable.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The report continued:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cRemains were transported by the Johnson County Coroner\u2019s Office to the Medical Examiner\u2019s Office in Frankfort, KY. Currently, no more information can be released. This case is being investigated by the Johnson County Sheriff\u2019s Office.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Will Summer ever get answers? Maybe \u2014 her ex\u00a0surprisingly survived his wounds and is currently recovering at a local hospital.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Related: Child Sex Offender Dies After Drinking Mystery Liquid In Court AS Guilty Verdict Is Read!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The school district released students early on Monday out of respect \u201cdue to the unexpected loss of one of our dearly loved students,\u201d and provided support for the family, writing:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThe Porter staff and the Johnson County School District extends our deepest condolences to her family and friends.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Summer explained to <em>WSAZ<\/em> that she had previously lost two children due to a \u201crare metabolic disorder,\u201d so Stacia was her \u201conly healthy daughter.\u201d The two bonded through music and their love for scary <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">movies<\/a>:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cShe loved Michael Meyers, Scream, even though it\u2019s not all that scary, but she loved Scream.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The grieving mother added:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cI keep imagining what was going through her mind. Scared. Probably like in her own real-life scary movie. We lost a very precious person. She was a gem, taken way too soon.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As of now no arrests have been made, but investigations are ongoing.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Such a horrible story.
