\n Joe Exotic\u2019s husband, Dillon Passage, has denied his beau\u2019s recent accusation that he abandoned the disgraced ex-zookeeper while he was in jail. In a heartfelt Instagram post uploaded Tuesday, the 22-year-old Dillon claimed that he\u2019s been sending the \u201cTiger King\u201d star letters on the reg and \u201cis standing by him\u201d in his time of need.<\/p>\n

The 57-year-old Exotic \u2014 who\u2019s serving a 22-year sentence for a murder-for-hire plot against zoo rival Carole Baskin \u2014 penned a bizarre jailhouse letter on Monday in which he claimed: \u201cI don\u2019t even know if I\u2019m married anymore.\u201d The flamboyant former cat wrangler, whose real name is Joseph Maldonado-Passage, urged people to stop sending him pics of his hubby partying, indicating that the two hadn\u2019t communicated in some time.<\/p>\n

However, Exotic\u2019s partner claimed that\u2019s not the case. \u201cMy heart is breaking after reading Joe\u2019s letter,\u201d wrote Dillon, who is still hitched to the caged tiger tamer on paper. He added, \u201cI\u2019ve been writing letters and it is a shame to hear that he isn\u2019t receiving them.\u201d<\/p>\n

Exotic\u2019s crestfallen hubby continued: \u201cI know they limit the amount he can read in a week and I only hope they eventually get to him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dillon didn\u2019t directly address his partner\u2019s accusations that he and others were profiting off of him following the release of \u201cTiger King,\u201d the smash hit Netflix docuseries<\/a> chronicling Exotic\u2019s rivalry with Baskin.<\/p>\n

However, he claimed that he loves the controversial zookeeper and is \u201cstanding by him.\u201d \u201cKnow that I love you and I\u2019m fighting for you everyday [sic],\u201d Dillon wrote.<\/p>\n

The two reportedly tied the knot in 2017, according to Entertainment Weekly, after meeting during karaoke night at a safari-theme<\/a>d bar near Exotic\u2019s former zoo, the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park in Wynnewood, Oklahoma.<\/p>\n
