According to the former G-Unit soldier, if Pop Smoke had security scaling the home, he would\u2019ve been alive.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you look at the Pop Smoke situation, Rest In Peace, if he had security around the perimeter, around the house, muthafuckers would\u2019ve kept it moving,\u201d Tony Yayo said at the 2:00-minute mark. \u201cYou woulda had him and another n-gga in front of that muthafucker.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He continued: \u201cThey don\u2019t have no way. I learned that from 50 [Cent], too, \u2018cause security and making sure you moving right are the main thing. Even when you overseas, there\u2019s no guns, but you gotta make sure you moving right.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Tony Yayo on Pop Smoke&#039;s Murder: If He Had Professional Security He&#039;d Still Be Alive (Part 22)\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/WdT92U7Lv7E?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The Queens native went on to say he doesn\u2019t waste any time when it comes to entering cars, a tactic he learned from 50 during the days the G-Unit crew were moving around the country.<\/p>\n<p>Pop Smoke was murdered during a home invasion gone wrong on February 19, 2020. Five hooded men broke into the home Pop was renting through Airbnb and took a woman in the property hostage. Pop found the intruders and complied with their demands to give up his jewelry before attempting to fight them, which led to Pop getting shot.<\/p>\n<p>Police arrived at the scene six minutes later, finding Pop Smoke with several bullet wounds. He was transferred to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead a few hours after doctors performed surgery on him.<\/p>\n<p>Pop\u2019s untimely death left a massive hole in the New York drill scene. Many didn\u2019t think drill music would last following Pop Smoke\u2019s death, including Fivio Foreign, who told Gillie and Wallo during their <em>Million Dollaz Worth of <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Game<\/a><\/em> podcast he wasn\u2019t sure if the sound would move any further.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe was gone, he was there, he was putting on. We were all coming up, but he was clearing the way for n-ggas, like, \u2018Yo come on, this way,\u2019\u201d Fivio said. \u201cHe was embracing n-ggas and when he died, it was almost like, \u2018Damn, this shit just might die out altogether,\u2019 \u2019cause he was putting on.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He added: \u201cI was just in the studio with him\u2013me, him and Polo\u2013the night before. He had flew out that same night. He was in New York the night before it h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ened, so he had flew out, and I didn\u2019t know he flew out, so when I saw the shit on Instagram and I saw n-ggas reposting it, I\u2019m like, \u2018Why n-ggas posting fake <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> like that?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI know the n-gga not in L.A. Home invasion, but he don\u2019t live in L.A.? It was true, and I\u2019m like, \u2018Oh shit.\u2019 I was getting so many calls, and that\u2019s when I knew it was really true with the calls I was getting. That shit hit hard.
