The portion of the podcast was transcribed <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mediaite.com\/tv\/watch-joe-rogan-and-mark-zuckerberg-complain-about-their-wives-disturbing-their-work-from-home-work-flow\/\">by the news site Mediaite.<\/a> <\/p>\n<p>\u201cUm, you know, our company\u2019s actually pretty forward-leaning on remote work. You kind of want like a block of like five hours where you can just work on a problem.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Meta CEO then seemed to imply that his wife, Priscilla Chan, knocks him out of concentration when he\u2019s in a \u201cflow.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t know, it\u2019s like I have this thing where, you know, it\u2019s \u2014 I\u2019ll be like in zone kind of flow concentration working on something and you know, my wife will like ask me some, some like basic question and I\u2019ll just be like, \u2018Oh man,\u2019 it\u2019s like, \u2018I just like lost my flow,&#8217;\u201d Zuckerberg said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom her perspective, it\u2019s like, \u2018Oh, not a big deal, it was a quick question, just go back to what you\u2019re doing,&#8217;\u201d the Meta chief said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s like, nah, that\u2019s not how it works, so I do think to some degree, having people be able to work remotely, is actually pretty useful for a lot of things.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Zuckerberg added: \u201cBut I think we\u2019ll need to find this mix. I think we\u2019ll need to find the mix.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI physically run away from my wife when I have a joke idea,\u201d said Rogan, who is also a stand-up comedian. But yeah, if I\u2019m in the middle of writing and she comes in and interrupts, it\u2019s over.
