commercial agreement from Yara International ASA.<\/p>\n<p> Starting in early 2025, 800,000 tons of carbon dioxide a year from Yara\u2019s<br \/>\n        YAR,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/200075065\/delayed\" class=\"negative\">-0.98%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       Sluiskil ammonia and fertilizer plant will be captured, compressed, and liquefied in the Netherlands before being transported and permanently stored more than two kilometers under the seabed off the coast of Norway, the French energy company said.<\/p>\n<div class=\"paywall\">\n       Northern Lights is a CO2 storage venture owned in equal shares by TotalEnergies<br \/>\n        TTE,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/206172043\/delayed\" class=\"negative\">-0.15%<\/bg-quote><span>,<\/span><br \/>\n       Equinor ASA<br \/>\n        EQNR,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/203290881\/delayed\" class=\"positive\">+1.25%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       and Shell PLC<br \/>\n        SHEL,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/206428183\/delayed\" class=\"positive\">+0.58%<\/bg-quote><span>.<\/span><br \/>\n       It allows for the transportation and storage of CO2 emissions from European industry to boost the continent\u2019s decarbonization initiatives, TotalEnergies said.<\/p>\n<p>The venture\u2019s Phase 1 installations are expected to be operational by 2024 and will have the ability to handle 1.5 million tons of CO2 a year.
