workers away as it pushes all employees to return to the office five days a week after Labor Day, The Post has learned. <\/p>\n<p>In a memo sent Tuesday obtained by The Post, Goldman Sachs told workers it will no longer require vaccines, COVID testing or masks \u2014 a signal it won\u2019t accept excuses for employees who claimed COVID as a reason for working from home. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is significantly less risk of severe illness,\u201d the memo stated. \u201cIn line with [the CDC\u2019s] updated protocols, if you have not been coming in to the office, please speak with your manager to ensure that you understand and adhere to your division\u2019s current return to office expectations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The official memo comes just days before the bank expects all employees to return to its offices five days a week, sources add.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is another way of Goldman Sachs saying, \u2018School\u2019s in session and we want you in person\u2019 after Labor Day,\u201d Wells Fargo bank analyst Mike Mayo told The Post. \u201cGoldman is the ultimate customer-facing firm and it\u2019s tough to face customers remotely.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image excuse to work from home.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe continue to make steady progress bringing our people together in the office, which is core to Goldman Sachs <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>renticeship culture and client-centric business,\u201d a spokeswoman for Goldman Sachs told The Post on Tuesday. <\/p>\n<p>The memo states Goldman will roll back its massive testing program and plans to end offering test kits companywide by the end of the year. The bank will reimburse COVID tests covered by insurance and will continue contact tracing and notify employees who have come into contact with an infected person.
