God damn right,\u201d Rock said (via <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-11173709\/Chris-Rock-Smith-did-impression-perfect-man-30-years.html\"><em>Daily Mail<\/em><\/a>). \u201cThe motherfucker hit me over a bullshit joke, the nicest joke I ever told.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Chappelle had more to say about Smith during the Liverpool show, saying: \u201cWill did the impression of a perfect person for 30 years, and he ripped his mask off and showed us he was as ugly as the rest of us. Whatever the consequences are. \u2026 I hope he doesn\u2019t put his mask back on again, and lets his real face breathe. During a show in New Jersey in July, the legendary co<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a>n addressed taking the punch like a champ despite it hurting.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnyone who says words hurt has never been punched in the face,\u201d Rock said., \u201cI\u2019m not a victim. Yeah, that shit hurt, motherfucker. But I shook that shit off and went to work the next day. I don\u2019t go to the hospital for a paper cut.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Az_Y2xcxHf4\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Az_Y2xcxHf4<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Chris Rock had just made a <em>G.I. Jane<\/em> joke about Smith\u2019s wife Jada Pinkett when the former <em>Fresh Prince of Bel-Air<\/em> star marched onstage and smacked him right across the face at the awards show.<\/p>\n<p>The audience and those watching from home initially thought it was a part of the show, but once Smith sat back down and yelled expletives as the camera continued to roll, it became clear there was nothing funny about what had just occurred.<\/p>\n<p>Will Smith made his long-awaited return with a heartfelt apology video addressing the slapping incident with Chris Rock. Smith took full accountability for his actions while admitting there\u2019s a lot of work that needs to be done to fix the mess he made.<\/p>\n<p>He explained he\u2019s been \u201cthinking\u201d and doing \u201cpersonal work,\u201d leading to him wanting to answer all the burning questions regarding that torrid night. Smith said that he will reach out when that time comes, but still apologized to Rock, telling him, \u201cI\u2019m here whenever you\u2019re ready to talk.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Chris Rock has reportedly turned down hosting the 2023 Oscars due to the slap.
