Today, we\u2019re watching a video essay that looks at the story behind the Mothra trilogy.&lt;\/em&gt;\n<\/code><\/pre>\n<hr\/>\n<p>What\u2019s that in the sky? It\u2019s a bird! It\u2019s a plane! No! It\u2019s Mothra, the fuzzy flying\u00a0<em>kaiju\u00a0<\/em>who makes frequent <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>earances in Toho\u2019s\u00a0<em>Godzilla\u00a0<\/em>franchise! Frequently accompanied by two tiny fairy twins who speak on her behalf (when are we going to see\u00a0<em>that <\/em>Adam Wingard), Mothra is a queen and she deserves our respect! Toho certainly seemed to think so \u2026. that\u2019s why she got her own standalone trilogy in the late 1990s!<\/p>\n<p>Comprised of\u00a0<strong><em>Rebirth of Mothra <\/em><\/strong>(1996), <strong><em>Rebirth of Mothra II<\/em><\/strong>, and the predictably-named <strong><em>Rebirth of Mothra III<\/em> <\/strong>(1998), the trilogy portrays the massive moth as the last member of a species tasked with safeguarding an ancient civilization. Over the course of the three films, Mothra does battle with her ancient enemy, the dragon Desghidorah, and has a son who carries on her noble legacy. (Did we mention that her son, whose name is Leo, <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/trip-and-travel\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"10\" title=\"Trip &amp; Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">travel<\/a>s backward in time to retroactively murder King Ghidorah? Because that happens, and it rules).<\/p>\n<p>As the video essay below details, the\u00a0<em>Rebirth of Mothra\u00a0<\/em>trilogy was explicitly made with kids in mind.
