She\u2019s addressing the rumored on-set drama regarding her film, which premiered earlier this week at the\u00a0<strong>Venice\u00a0International Film Festival<\/strong>!! In the new\u00a0<em>VF<\/em> piece, the 38-year-old\u00a0<em>Booksmart<\/em> director goes straight to rumors about her life and career that have been endlessly spread across <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">social media<\/a>. Queried by the mag about that rumor of spurned love, Olivia cl<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ed back hard:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThe complete horses**t idea that I left Jason for Harry is completely inaccurate. Our relationship was over long before I met Harry. Like any relationship that ends, it doesn\u2019t end overnight. We were raising two kids during lockdown, so we co-parented through that time. But while the two may be in an escalating custody disagreement regarding 8-year-old son\u00a0<strong>Otis<\/strong> and 5-year-old daughter\u00a0<strong>Daisy<\/strong>, there\u2019s evidently <em>no<\/em> truth to the rumor about the former\u00a0<strong>One Direction<\/strong> frontman. The director used the new\u00a0<em>VF<\/em> piece to again deny rumors of a feud between her and star actress <strong>Florence Pugh<\/strong>, who was reported to be #TeamJason because of her overlapping timelines belief:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cIt is very rare that people assume the best from women in power. I think they don\u2019t often give us the benefit of the doubt. Florence did the job I hired her to do, and she did it exquisitely. Explaining to the mag that she doesn\u2019t care whether the\u00a0<em>Dune: Part Two<\/em> star promotes this movie on social media or not, Olivia said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cFlorence is one of the most in-demand actresses in the universe. She\u2019s on set on <em>Dune<\/em>. I gather that some people expect for her to be engaging more on social media. I didn\u2019t hire her to post. I hired her to act. She fulfilled every single expectation I had of her.
