to Chairman and Chief <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/technology\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"4\" title=\"Technology\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Technology<\/a> Officer Larry Ellison.<\/p>\n<p> Speaking during a conference call on Monday, Ellison said the software giant has been talking to some of Amazon.com Inc.\u2019s<br \/>\n        AMZN,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/210331248\/composite\" class=\"negative\">-7.06%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       \u201cmost famous brands\u201d that are running at Amazon Web Services.<\/p>\n<div class=\"paywall\">\n       The customers, he added, can save a \u201chuge amount of money\u201d by moving to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Ellison added that, in the next quarter, Oracle Corp.<br \/>\n        ORCL,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/202180826\/composite\" class=\"negative\">-1.35%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       will be announcing some companies moving off Amazon to OCI \u201cthat will shock you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Amazon has not yet responded to a request for comment from MarketWatch on Ellison\u2019s comments.<\/p>\n<p><strong>See Now<\/strong>: Oracle misses on earnings results and forecast as strong dollar takes a toll<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOracle highlighted OCI\u2019s cost differential, speed, and flexibility as the primary factors for companies considering a move of workloads to OCI,\u201d wrote JP Morgan analyst Mark R. Murphy, in a note released on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>The analyst also highlighted the robust demand environment for Oracle\u2019s products. \u201cNoticeably absent from the earnings call was commentary calling out lengthening deal cycles or increased scrutiny as a result of the macro environment,\u201d wrote Murphy. \u201cWhile not impervious to declining macro conditions, Oracle noted that it is still seeing robust demand and not experiencing the lengthening sales cycle and increased deal scrutiny that most software companies have faced recently.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>JP Morgan has an $84 target and overweight rating for Oracle.<\/p>\n<p>Oracle did feel the impact of a strengthening dollar in its fiscal first-quarter, as the company delivered lower-than-expected profit and guidance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>See Now<\/strong>: Executives seem pretty convinced a recession is coming, and earnings are expected to take a hit<\/p>\n<div id=\"cx-membership-tile\"><\/div>\n<p>Nonetheless, Oracle posted solid results and provided an upbeat outlook, according to Stifel analyst Brad R. Reback.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe 23% [year-over-year (YY)\/constant currency (CC)] growth beat the high end of guidance (22% Y\/Y-CC) by ~$200M, driven by the newly acquired Cerner business, which contributed 15% Y\/Y-CC and $1.4 [billion] to revenue growth, as well as better than expected results in the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">App<\/a>lication and Infrastructure segments, with organic growth of 12% and 7%, respectively,\u201d he wrote, in a note released on Tuesday. \u201cDuring the call, management took a positive tone regarding the company\u2019s ability to sustain its recent organic momentum, indicating its Cloud business should \u2018accelerate substantially\u2019 and grow 30%+ CC in FY23.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Stifel has a $72 price target and hold rating for Oracle.<\/p>\n<p>Oracle\u2019s stock surged 2.7% in morning trading Tuesday, to buck the selloff in the broader stock market after disappointing consumer inflation data.
