With critics and fans loving the surprise horror movie, it is no wonder that Cregger is hoping this leads to bigger things, and there wouldn\u2019t be anything bigger than a Batman-related movie. While Cregger didn\u2019t go into details about his project, pitching it to Warner Bros. at a time when things are all over the place with their DC output could be the best way of getting such an audacious project.<br \/>\n<!-- Zone: character count repeatable. --><br \/>\nThere are currently a number of \u201ctraditional\u201d Batman projects coming set for release in the next year, including appearances by Ben Affleck\u2019s Caped Crusader in <em>Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom<\/em>, and both Affleck and Michael Keaton in the batsuit for <em>The Flash<\/em>. This is of course alongside Matt Reeves universe built around <em>The Batman<\/em>, which will already include a sequel movie as well as spin-off HBO Max shows centering on The Penguin and Arkham Asylum. Whether that leaves any room for a third branch of Batman is something only Warner Bros.
