Now, following their exit, the reboot pulls an ace by bringing back Marg Helgenberger as Catherine Willows \u2014 blood spatter expert, former s<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/trip-and-travel\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"10\" title=\"Trip &amp; Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">trip<\/a>per, and all-around badass.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe gets wind of some illicit dealings at the Eclipse,\u201d executive producer Jason Tracey says of the casino Catherine\u2019s crooked father built. \u201cHarm has befallen some of her friends. Enemies have been made.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bonus: Hers isn\u2019t the only familiar face we see in Season 2. For one, Katie Stevens, aka Catherine\u2019s daughter Lindsey, <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ears in a spotlight episode written for Helgenberger by <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> creator Anthony E. Zuiker.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s always fun to catch up with <i>CSI<\/i> legends,\u201d Tracey teases. But first, the legendary Helgenberger tells us more.<\/p>\n<p><b>What were those early talks like?<\/b><\/p>\n<p><strong>Marg Helgenberger:<\/strong> The first season, it would have been more of a recurring situation, but the timing wasn\u2019t right. Then they came back to me for the second season. Getting back into Catherine\u2019s tight pants, boots, leather jackets, and her swagger with a whole new group of people and this set that\u2019s 10 times as big as the original, glass everywhere \u2014 that\u2019s just mind-blowing.<\/p>\n<p><b>What brings Catherine back?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>That was a big question I had: Why would Catherine return after all these years in a job that\u2019s hard? I brought my idea to Jason, and he had already thought of how to bring her back in, so we married our two ideas.<\/p>\n<p>Mine involved Catherine having a scholarship program and a young woman she\u2019d cherry-picked to bring into the CSI fold. One of the things I\u2019m most proud of about what <i>CSI<\/i> accomplished in its long run was the impact it had on women going into the field of forensic <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/sciencee\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"5\" title=\"Science\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">science<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><b>A lot has changed in the work and <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/technology\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"4\" title=\"Technology\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">technology<\/a>. Does Catherine have to play catch-up?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>A little bit, sure. Back in the day, we always got all this state-of-the-art equipment, but now it\u2019s on steroids!<\/p>\n<p><b>Has Catherine herself changed?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>She\u2019s wiser and more mature. But she still has that intensity and fortitude and stamina and doggedness in regard to solving a crime \u2014 especially if it\u2019s something that touches her deeply. That would never change, I don\u2019t think, as long as she has her wits about her and her physical strength.<\/p>\n<p><b>Do you have action scenes?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Minor sequences here and there. Today the director goes, \u201cLet\u2019s give Catherine more action.\u201d I said, \u201cYeah, I love it.
