Pronounced \u201ccoraz\u00f3n,\u201d the new project combines buoyant vocals from Minus \u2014 the Colombia-born, Brooklyn-based singer-producer born Gabriela Jimeno \u2014 with tidal synth swells from Python \u2014 the knob-twisting alias of the elusive Brian Pi\u00f1eyro, a first-generation Argentinian-Ecuadorian-American raised in Miami and currently transmitting from Queens \u2014 to spirit its listeners somewhere far from shore, rocking us gently on its sound waves while a vaguely menacing storm gathers in the distance.<\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 20px; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<p>            The three-track tape was already two-thirds out of the womb by the time of its official release last Friday: Its anthemic closer, \u201c<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=jfk36vHdTN4&amp;ab_channel=ElaMinus\">P\u00e1jaros En Verano<\/a>,\u201d arrived early in August with the record\u2019s announcement. And its disorienting opener, \u201c<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=nxaVDb2Ybks&amp;ab_channel=ElaMinus\">Kiss U,<\/a>\u201d dropped a week before today. The bridge between those two cuts came Friday with \u201cAbril Lluvias Mil,\u201d a trancelike slow groove that takes its title from the Spanish saying \u201cEn abril, lluvias mil\u201d (\u201cIn April, 1,000 rain storms\u201d).<\/p>\n<p>            The song is structured around a simple, echoing drum loop that anchors the rest of Python\u2019s waterlogged instrumental to the ocean floor so that its vibrations rise to the surface entirely warped from their original form.
