Financial details weren&#8217;t disclosed for the transaction that&#8217;s expected to close in the last three months of the year.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;In this digital era, clients are looking for the right mix of high-quality products to build new revenue streams and improve topline growth,&#8221; said John Granger, senior vice president of IBM Consulting.<\/p>\n<p>Dialexa, founded in 2010, has a team of 300, including product managers, designers, full-stack engineers and data scientists based in Dallas and Chicago. It creates digital products for clients that include Deere &amp; Company, Pizza Hut and Toyota.<\/p>\n<p>Paul Papas, managing director at the consulting arm of IBM, which started in 2014, said the team identified product engineering as a high-growth space.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;When we got to meet [Dialexa&#8217;s team], it was, I think, love at first sight,&#8221; Papas said. &#8220;And there&#8217;s so much synergy between what we do and what they do and the clients they serve and the clients we serve.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Dialexa helped with the design of the robotic lawn mower created by local startup Robin Autopilot, which was later bought by Irving-based Fahey Group. It also built the platform for Dallas-based parking <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/technology\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"4\" title=\"Technology\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">technology<\/a> provider ParkHub.<\/p>\n<p>Dialexa is run by founders Scott Harper, CEO, and Mark Haider, chairman. Harper has a background in engineering and finance and previously worked as chief operating officer for 2GO Software Solutions Inc. Haider started his first tech company at age 17 and previously led a development project for the U.S. Army Tank Automotive Research Development Engineering Center.<\/p>\n<p>Haider previously stepped down from his role as co-CEO of Dialexa in 2015 to focus on automotive technology company Vinli, which was born out of Dialexa Labs, the company&#8217;s internal innovation and development engine.<\/p>\n<p>August saw a slight boost in M&amp;A activity. The first half of the year saw a 26% dip in activity compared to the same period last year due to surging inflation, falling equity valuations and rising interest rates, according to S&amp;P Global Market Intelligence.
