He\u2019s stressed that his music doesn\u2019t tell his \u201cexact truth,\u201d since he wants certain things to remain private, but on songs like \u201c<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=ZmSORFI2XzU\">John Redcorn<\/a>,\u201d where he crumbles under the weight of unrequited love, and \u201c<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=sxuffiwoiyU\">Still Blue<\/a>,\u201d it\u2019s hard not to wonder where the truth starts to melt into fiction. SiR\u2019s confessional style is detailed, but not overbearing, offering a warm and vulnerable perspective that\u2019s in search of understanding rather than serving his own hedonism. In <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.okayplayer.com\/music\/sir-cover-story.html\"><i>OkayPlayer<\/i>\u2019s September cover story<\/a>, SiR talked about his intention to maintain the same transparency he\u2019s had on his upcoming album. \u201cIt was my therapy almost, because I had nothing else to do,\u201d he said. \u201cAll I had was music and my home life.\u201d  <\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 20px; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<p>            \u201cNothing Even Matters,\u201d his latest single, makes good on that promise. On this song, SiR sounds ready to burst with joy while singing about his wife. \u201cOh, you make me wanna be a better man,\u201d he sounds off with horns trailing behind him. The SamTrax-produced song is more im<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a>tely in-your-face than the murky beats that populated <i>Chasing Summer<\/i>, but it doesn\u2019t depart from the Earth-toned grooves that the Inglewood singer prefers.
