An investigation of MEVbots\u2019 contract revealed a backdoor that allows the creators to drain Ether from its users&#8217; wallets.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">   Our analysis confirms what the <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/mevbots?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@mevbots<\/a> promotes for the so-called &#8220;MEV gain&#8221; has a fund-stealing backdoor. Source: Peckshield<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p> However, considering that the contract is still active, at least 13,000 unwary followers of MEVbots on Twitter remain at risk of losing their funds.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Related: <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>ETHW confirms contract vulnerability exploit, dismisses replay attack claims<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Carrying forward the success of scalability-focused layer-2 solutions, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin shared his vision for layer-3 protocols. He stated:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cA three-layer scaling architecture that consists of stacking the same scaling scheme on top of itself <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/general\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"3\" title=\"General\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">general<\/a>ly does not work well.
