Source: TradingView<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"BTC_price_9-day_highs_greet_traders\"><\/span>BTC price 9-day highs greet traders<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Data from Cointelegraph Markets Pro and <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tradingview.com\/symbols\/BTCUSD\/?exchange=BINANCE\">TradingView<\/a> followed BTC\/USD as it added over 7% after the Sep. 26 close.<\/p>\n<p>Local highs of $20,344 <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>eared on Bitstamp before the pair began consolidating at around $20,200.<\/p>\n<p>The move naturally did not go unnoticed by in trading circles, but opinions differed over the outcome, amid warnings that the whole episode may end up trapping overoptimistic traders taking late long positions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo [rejection] yet, but soon. Expecting higher for now,\u201d popular <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitter<\/a> account Il Capo of Crypto <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CryptoCapo_\/status\/1574657704282333185?s=20&amp;t=h08fgTrJ_f3G6ZSy-o2SKg\">summarized<\/a>, sticking by a theory which demanded new lower lows than the sub-$19,000 levels seen over the past week.<\/p>\n<p>Research firm Santiment meanwhile noted mass profit-taking beginning as Bitcoin recrossed the $20,000 boundary for the first time in over a week.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMany traders were apparently awaiting the $20k threshold to begin selling their bags,\u201d it <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/santimentfeed\/status\/1574632378999312384\">revealed<\/a> alongside a chart of transactions made at a profit or loss to their owner. <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cAs Bitcoin crossed back above this psychological level, mass profit taking ensued. Taking profits along the way,\u201d it <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MI_Algos\/status\/1574601780943474688\">confirmed<\/a> in a tweet.<\/p>\n<p>While modest, Bitcoin\u2019s September gains totaled 0.7% at the time of writing, with BTC\/USD at $20,200.
