He was 59.<\/p>\n<p>The recording artist, who reached superstar heights in 1995 with his haunting track <em>Gangsta\u2019s Paradise<\/em>, was found unresponsive Wednesday night at a friend\u2019s Los Angeles home, this according to <em>TMZ<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Related: Stars We Lost In 2022\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>His official cause of death is of course still unknown, but paramedics reportedly believe he died of cardiac arrest. <strong>Jarez Posey<\/strong>, the former Compton resident\u2019s manager, says Coolio was visiting a friend in El Lay Wednesday afternoon when, after being alone in the bathroom for some time, the friend started to become concerned. EMTs were called to the house around 4 p.m., and he was pronounced dead on the scene.<\/p>\n<p>So f**king tragic. 59. That\u2019s still too young!!!<\/p>\n<p>No foul play is suspected, and no drugs or drug paraphernalia were found at the scene, but officials have opened a death investigation.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Coolio - Gangsta&#039;s Paradise (Official Music Video) [HD] ft. In \u201996 it won the<strong> Grammy<\/strong> for Best Rap Solo Performance \u2014 and was certified <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/trip-and-travel\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"10\" title=\"Trip &amp; Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TRIP<\/a>LE PLATINUM by the RIAA!!<\/p>\n<p>But one-hit-wonder he was not! Other singles of his include <em>Fantastic Voyage<\/em>, <em>C U When You Get There<\/em>, <em>Hit \u2019em High<\/em>, and the iconic <em>Clueless<\/em> go-to, <em>Rollin\u2019 With My Homies<\/em>.
