November Brent<br \/>\n        BRNX22,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/209705766\/delayed\" class=\"negative\">-0.15%<\/bg-quote><span>,<\/span><br \/>\n       the front-month contract which will expire at the end of Friday\u2019s session, declined by 83 cents, or 0.9%, at $88.49 a barrel.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n      Back on Nymex, October gasoline<br \/>\n        RBV22,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/210289102\/delayed\" class=\"negative\">-2.64%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       fell 2.7% to $2.5076 a gallon, while October heating oil<br \/>\n        HOV22,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/210065705\/delayed\" class=\"negative\">-1.58%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       lost 1% to $3.4146 a gallon. Both October contracts expire Friday.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n      November natural gas<br \/>\n        NGX22,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/210194879\/delayed\" class=\"negative\">-1.21%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       fell 1.2% to $6.874 per million British thermal units.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Market_drivers\"><\/span>Market drivers<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h6>\n<p> Oil prices were holding onto a gain for the week, bouncing off eight-month lows. A rally by the dollar relented, after taking the U.S. Dollar Index<br \/>\n        DXY,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/210598269\/delayed\" class=\"negative\">-0.30%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       to a 20-year high, while traders turned their attention to the prospect of a production cut by OPEC+, which is comprised of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and their allies.<\/p>\n<div class=\"paywall\">\n       But analysts said the tone for crude remains weak, with worries that aggressive monetary tightening by the Federal Reserve and other major central banks will sink the global economy, outweighing worries over the Russia-Ukraine war and other supply concerns.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe lack of a disruption risk premium makes it clear: The market fears Fed Chair Powell more than it fears escalatory conduct from [Russian President] Vladimir Putin or OPEC\u2019s ability to defend the market,\u201d said Michael Tran, commodity analyst at RBC Capital Markets, in a note.<\/p>\n<p>A statement from the North Atlantic Treaty Organization said all \u201ccurrently available information\u201d points to the damage to the Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipelines that has resulted in a <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> of leaks was the result of \u201cdeliberate, reckless, and irresponsible acts of sabotage.\u201d NATO did not identify a perpetrator.<\/p>\n<p><strong>See: <\/strong>As fourth Nord Stream leak is discovered, here\u2019s what scientists are saying about the environment impact<\/p>\n<p><strong>Also see:<\/strong> Nord Stream pipeline leaks remind Europe it can\u2019t rely on natural gas from Russia<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, OPEC+ members have discussed a potential production cut ahead of a meeting next week, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/business\/energy\/opec-has-begun-talks-output-cut-oct-5-meeting-opec-source-2022-09-29\/\" class=\"icon none\">Reuters reported<\/a>. The report said Russia could suggest a cut of up to one million barrels a day.<\/p>\n<p>Tran, however, said OPEC+ faces a dilemma after Saudi Arabia previously complained of a disconnect between a soft futures market and a tight physical market.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe group symbolically cut 100,000 barrels a day earlier this month. Larger cuts over the near term would signal a concession that physical demand is worse than initially assessed. Cut too little and the market shrugs it off,\u201d Tran said. \u201cThat is the <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.merriam-webster.com\/dictionary\/catch-22\" class=\"icon none\">Catch-22<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<div id=\"cx-membership-tile\"><\/div>\n<p>Crude also found some support from Hurricane Ian, which made landfall in Florida Wednesday as a violent Category 4 storm. The Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement had estimated Wednesday afternoon that <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>roximately 9.12% of the current oil production and 5.95% of the natural gas production in the Gulf of Mexico had been shut in.<\/p>\n<p><strong>See: <\/strong>Hurricane Ian: These stocks could feel the storm\u2019s impact<\/p>\n<p>On Thursday, U.S. natural-gas futures headed sharply lower, looking to give back all of Wednesday\u2019s 2.9% climb and then some. <\/p>\n<p>The U.S. Energy Information Administration reported Thursday that domestic natural-gas supplies rose by 103 billion cubic feet for the week ended Sept. 23.
