The <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> shocked many fans of the <strong>Netflix<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> as it came the same week their castmates <strong>Iyanna McNeely<\/strong> and <strong>Jarrette Jones<\/strong> revealed their split. But <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>arently, Nick and Danielle\u2019s love just wasn\u2019t in the cards!<\/p>\n<p>And now, the 29-year-old reality star is speaking out about what really went down with her and Nick\u2019s breakup \u2014 and the aftermath of it. Speaking with <em>E! News<\/em> on Friday, Danielle shared there wasn\u2019t a single reason or drama behind their divorce, explaining:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cEveryone\u2019s wanting some sort of big story when that wasn\u2019t necessarily the case. It was hard to speak about it at first because of how raw the emotions were and still are. But also, it\u2019s not that interesting of a story. It was just two people decided that it was best to go their separate ways.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Related: Deepti Vempati Shares Emotional Post After Kyle Abrams Split!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>She continued:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThere was no catastrophe that had happened. And a lot of people had also assumed that there was some sort of incentive for the couples to stay together for a year and that wasn\u2019t the case.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>As for the critics who believed the pair\u2019s marriage was only for show? The television personality insisted she and Nick were not \u201cfaking anything\u201d for the cameras, saying there truly was \u201clove\u201d between them:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWe didn\u2019t stay together for a year because it was fake \u2013 we truly love each other, and that\u2019s why this breakup was incredibly hard, it\u2019s why it\u2019s taken us so long to talk about it. But again, like it\u2019s you have to think about the fact that it was a while ago.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Even though it seemed like the two were incredibly happy during the <em>After the Altar<\/em> special, which premiered on the streaming service in mid-September after their split was announced, Danielle noted that viewers did not see what was really happening behind the scenes between them:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThe one thing that I get asked about a lot is like, \u2018Oh, you guys seem so perfect during After the Altar. But I think it\u2019s also important to remember that was filmed in March. And just because we were going [until] March doesn\u2019t mean that we necessarily didn\u2019t have certain difficulties leading up until, when we decided to end the relationship.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Looking back, Danielle also shared that it was difficult having to watch the special after their separation:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cObviously, breakups are hard. They\u2019re always going to be hard. It\u2019s been a pretty difficult time and then re-watching After the Altar just kind of adds an additional element of feelings to everything. There\u2019s ups and downs. You just have to ride the wave.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>We cannot imagine how painful it must be to watch those happy moments on the screen, all while dealing with the hurt of a breakup! Super tough. But despite going through a difficult split, Danielle has nothing but sweet things to say about Nick, even calling him \u201ca great guy\u201d at the end of the day:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cJust because it didn\u2019t work out like in the way that we had hoped, I would love to be friends in the future. I think it\u2019s a little bit raw right now. So, it\u2019s kind of difficult, but we went through something that no one else in the world has.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>While she is single now, she\u2019s def not ready to meet someone new just yet:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI don\u2019t think I\u2019ll be ready to date anytime soon. It takes me a long time to get over people. We\u2019re still going through the divorce process. Dating is not in my near-term feature right now.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Nothing wrong with taking a moment or two to focus on yourself before jumping into a relationship again!
