\n The NFL has another Super Bowl jersey-gate on its hands.<\/p>\n

This one involves Michael Strahan, who reportedly believes he has his jersey from Super Bowl XLII framed in his home. But Goldin Auctions has another Strahan jersey that it says was the one the Giants defensive end actually wore while beating the Patriots 17-14 in 2008, reported TMZ, and the most recent bid for it hit $39,000.<\/p>\n

Strahan, according to TMZ, says he gave his jersey to a friend and told him to take it right to his hotel room. The Pro Football Hall of Famer is \u201cadamant\u201d that is the jersey that is currently in his house.<\/p>\n

But Goldin Auctions claims that Strahan\u2019s jersey from that game<\/a> landed in the hands of a Giants equipment manager, who gave it to another person before it arrived at the memorabilia company. Its founder and CEO, Ken Goldin, sought out two photo match experts to confirm the jersey is the same one seen in postgame photos of Strahan.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are 100% confident the Strahan jersey in the auction is authentic,\u201d Goldin told TMZ. \u201cAnd the photo matching services letters and images speak for themselves.\u201d<\/p>\n

Goldin believes the final bid for the Strahan jersey could exceed $100,000.<\/p>\n
