You can work on a document together in real-time, add and resolve comments, assign tasks, and much more in Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.<\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Document_Sharing\"><\/span>Document Sharing<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Collaboration in one of Google\u2019s apps starts with <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.howtogeek.com\/753171\/how-to-share-documents-on-google-docs-sheets-and-slides\/\">sharing the document. This allows you to create, edit, and do everything you need in the document. But when you\u2019re collaborating with others, you might want to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.howtogeek.com\/398789\/how-to-suggest-an-edit-in-google-docs\/\">use Suggesting mode.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"admonishment_note\"><p><strong>Note:<\/strong> As of September 2022, this feature is only available in Google Docs, not Sheets or Slides.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>In Suggesting mode, edits you make become suggestions rather than actual changes.
