Inside these settings, you can choose between 10 seconds, 20 seconds, or 30 seconds.<\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Where_to_Find_Your_Scheduled_Email\"><\/span><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" name=\"autotoc_anchor_1\">Where to Find Your Scheduled Email<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Messages that have been scheduled will appear in a separate mailbox in the Mail app. Launch Mail, then look at the top of the screen in the \u201cMailboxes\u201d view.<\/p>\n<p>If you don\u2019t see a list of mailboxes, you\u2019re probably browsing a specific mailbox. You can use the back arrow in the top-left corner of the screen to get back to the main view.<\/p>\n<p>Here, you should see the \u201cSend Later\u201d mailbox. If you don\u2019t, tap \u201cEdit\u201d in the top-right corner and tap the circle next to the \u201cSend Later\u201d inbox to enable it. You\u2019ll have to delete it and schedule a new one. To <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.howtogeek.com\/669817\/how-to-remove-email-accounts-from-the-mail-app-on-iphone-and-ipad\/\">delete your email, swipe the message to the left and tap \u201cTrash.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>If you select the scheduled email, you can tap \u201cEdit\u201d next to it to change the time the email will be sent.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-837005\" data-pagespeed-lazy-src=\"https:\/\/www.howtogeek.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/edit_schedule.jpg?trim=1,1&amp;bg-color=000&amp;pad=1,1\" alt=\"Change when a scheduled message is due to be sent\" width=\"650\" height=\"175\" src=\"\/pagespeed_static\/1.JiBnMqyl6S.gif\" onload=\"pagespeed.lazyLoadImages.loadIfVisibleAndMaybeBeacon(this);\" onerror=\"this.onerror=null;pagespeed.lazyLoadImages.loadIfVisibleAndMaybeBeacon(this);\"\/><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"admonishment_warning\"><p><strong>Warning:<\/strong> Be careful here, as tapping Edit will immediately change the scheduled time to now. That means if you hit \u201cDone\u201d instead of \u201cCancel,\u201d your email will be sent immediately, with no option to undo it.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Cant_See_the_Schedule_Option\"><\/span><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" name=\"autotoc_anchor_2\">Can\u2019t See the Schedule Option?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The ability to schedule email was added to the Mail app in iOS 16. If you don\u2019t see the option, make sure you\u2019ve upgraded to iOS 16 under Settings &gt; General &gt; Software Update.
