Representatives for both platforms have separately confirmed West&#8217;s suspension to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.buzzfeednews.com\/article\/davidmack\/kanye-west-twitter-jews-antisemitism\">Buzzfeed<\/a> and <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/tech\/internet\/kanye-west-ye-instagram-anti-semitic-rcna51340\">NBC News<\/a>. The FADER has reached out to Kanye West&#8217;s representative for more information.<\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 20px; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<p>            In his first posting on Saturday, West shared text messages between Diddy and himself in which West suggested that the rap mogul was being controlled by Jewish people. &#8220;Ima use you as an example to show the Jewish people that told you to call me that no one can threaten or influence me,&#8221; <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.xxlmag.com\/kanye-west-war-diddy-texts\/\">he wrote in the post<\/a> captioned &#8220;Jesus is Jew.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>            Instagram removed the post and restricted his account, which led West to return to Twitter for the first time since the 2020 election. The funny thing is I actually can\u2019t be Anti Semitic because black people are actually Jew also You guys have toyed with me and tried to black ball anyone whoever opposes your agenda.\u201d <\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 20px; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<p>            The tweet was removed by the platform and replaced with the message &#8220;This tweet violated the Twitter Rules,&#8221; with Twitter confirming in a statement to Buzzfeed that West&#8217;s account had been locked &#8220;due to a violation of Twitter\u2019s policies.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>            This week, Kanye West was <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/ajc.global\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;ig_rid=f44cd23a-a27e-456e-a22a-a895f2db1c27\">criticized<\/a> by advocacy groups for remarks made during an interview with Tucker Carlson. West suggested that Jared Kushner, a Jewish man who was an advisor to President Donald Trump, negotiated treaties between the United States, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain for financial gain.
