As usual, the cast kick started the show with the cold open, this time taking on the January 6 committee hearings. But she joked that after touring and making an album while finishing her degree at <strong>Texas Southern University<\/strong>, she is really going by the name of \u201cMegan Thee bitch that needs some sleep.\u201d And, of course, Megan also had to \u201caddress a certain incident that\u201d might be \u201con everybody\u2019s mind\u201d \u2013 and no, it is not the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> of her home in El Lay getting robbed while she was in New York City. Instead, she said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cNo, I do not know why Popeyes took the Hottie Sauce off the menu. And hotties, if you want the sauce back, you gotta take that up with the Popeyes lady, not me! Alright?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>LOLz! However, they all solely communicated by saying the word \u201cgirl\u201d with varying inflections. Check it out (below):<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=aC83lnbVleU\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=aC83lnbVleU<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Moving on\u2026<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cWeekend Update\u201d delivered some of its strongest and darkest jokes this week. <strong>Colin Jost<\/strong> and <strong>Michael Che<\/strong> first went off on everyone involved with the January 6 hearing from <strong>Donald Trump<\/strong>\u2019s 14-page letter to<strong> Nancy Pelosi<\/strong> saying she\u2019d gladly to go to prison for punching the former president. Later in the segment, Michael delivered a hilarious line about Manhattan congressional candidate <strong>Mike Itkis<\/strong>, who is running on a platform that includes sex positivity, releasing a sex tape:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWe share a lot of the same positions.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Then, <strong>Chloe Fineman<\/strong> and <strong>Heidi Gardner<\/strong> teamed up to portray two Texas moms, Debbie Hole and Stacey Bussy, to speak about how the new movie <em>Hocus Pocus 2<\/em> and candy is \u201csatanic.\u201d Oh, and there is a completely random demon possession and exorcism halfway through their whole spiel.
