platform into train&#8217;s path: official&#8221;<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h1>\n<div>\n<p>Chilling video captured a Queens straphanger accidentally bumping into another rider, the fight that ensued \u2014 and his final moments as he rolled off the platform to his death, a police official told The Post on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>The surveillance footage, which was reviewed by the cop and described to The Post, first shows suspect Carlos Garcia, 50, standing near the edge of the subway platform at the Jackson Heights Roosevelt Avenue station during rush hour Monday evening right before the incident.\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" victim, identified by police as Heriberto Quintana, is then shown walking along the edge of the platform in front of Garcia. Quintana bumps into Garcia, causing the suspect\u2019s phone to be knocked onto the tracks, the police official said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Witnesses told cops that Garcia demanded to know if Quintana was going to retrieve his phone for him.
