It was a sad day for owners everywhere, but now it could be making a return with even more to offer.<\/p>\n<p>For those unaware, in the early days of Tesla, the referral program was a big deal. If someone bought a new car with your link, you could get between 1,000-5,000 free Supercharger miles. Some of the top earners even received a free Tesla Roadster, new sets of wheels, and racked up thousands of charging credits.<\/p>\n<p>When Tesla ended the program on September 18th, 2021, the in-<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a> notification and last communication said, \u201c<span class=\"s1\">we are not offering Referral awards <em>until further notice<\/em>.\u201d Leaving the door open for a return.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>And while we doubt Tesla will ever give out free cars again, the latest app update strongly hints at a return for the money-saving referral program. A <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Tesla_App_iOS\/status\/1582708995042648064\">Twitter account<\/a> dedicated to tracking and digging through Tesla app updates noticed some source code changes that all but confirmed the referral program could resurface.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Good morning everyone version 4.14.1 has been released and while we fully expected this just to be a bug fix update, we actually have some substance here. <\/p>\n<p>Looks like the referral program is getting some love again. Interested to see the new items that are available. <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/K225lMGeYd\">pic.twitter.com\/K225lMGeYd<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Tesla App Updates (iOS) (@Tesla_App_iOS) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Tesla_App_iOS\/status\/1582708030310711297?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 19, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Digging through the source code shows several new additions in the latest Tesla app update. Details that weren\u2019t in the previous versions. This mention all sorts of Tesla referral program rewards, from Supercharger miles, discounts and codes for merch from <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/shop.tesla.com\/\">Tesla\u2019s online store<\/a>, car accessories, and more. We even see several mentions of new \u201creferral challenges\u201d that owners can \u201cstart\u201d almost like a <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I don\u2019t know about you guys, but getting free Supercharging miles sounds pretty great. Or, save up your credits for some accessories, Tesla merch clothing, or maybe a Cyberquad for Kids if it ever comes back in stock.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, we have no way of knowing if Tesla plans to bring the referral program back or when.
