From canceling student debt to freeing federal pot prisoners to restricting oil and gas production to getting arch-nemesis Steve Bannon locked up, they are ending their two-year run with a bang.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Their conclusion came last week when the partisan Jan. 6 committee issued a subpoena to former President Donald Trump. The timing was impeccable.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>After managing to stretch out the panel\u2019s work for nearly two years, Nancy Pelosi\u2019s worker bees saw to it that the Trump subpoena conveniently dropped just before the midterm elections. Given the likelihood the subpoena will not be adjudicated before the current Congress expires in December, the chief purpose is to keep Trump\u2019s name in the headlines, because nothing stokes lefty voters and unites factions like hating him. It\u2019s practically a requirement for party membership these days.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>If the polls are right, the GOP will take the House and maybe the Senate, leaving little chance Trump will ever be forced to testify. Will Republican lawmakers keep their promises to probe Joe Biden\u2019s connection to his son\u2019s lucrative influence-peddling schemes around the world?\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This is far more than a matter of turnabout being fair play. Thanks mostly to The Post\u2019s coverage of Hunter Biden\u2019s laptop and public statements by Hunter\u2019s former partner, Tony Bobulinski, there is an abundance of compelling evidence showing that Joe Biden, as vice president, was participating in and profiting from schemes put in motion by Hunter and Joe\u2019s brother, Jim Biden.\u00a0<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignright\">\n    <\/aside>\n<p>That evidence alone makes a lie of Joe\u2019s repeated claim he never discussed Hunter\u2019s business with him. It\u2019s such a stupid, obvious lie that the only possible explanation is that an honest answer would be the first step in unraveling an enormous scam that stretched over many years.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>To cite just one vulnerability, consider that many of the millions of foreign dollars the Biden family got came from China, which raises a distinct possibility that the president has been compromised by our most important adversary. As I have noted, China\u2019s communist leadership knows far more about Joe Biden\u2019s role in Hunter\u2019s business than the American people do.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Already there is more evidence of Joe Biden\u2019s wrongdoing than there was when a special counsel was <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ointed to probe Trump over his supposed collusion with Russia.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Biden evidence creates an overwhelming conflict of interest for the Department of Justice and thus cries out for a special prosecutor, but that\u2019s not going to happen because it would require the attorney <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/general\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"3\" title=\"General\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">general<\/a> to appoint one.\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" src=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/10\/goodwin-biden-5.jpg?w=1024\" alt=\"Biden salutes as he steps off Marine One upon arrival at Gordons Pond in Delaware on October 21. \" class=\"wp-image-24368811\" srcset=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/10\/goodwin-biden-5.jpg?quality=75&amp;strip=all&amp;w=1535 1536w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/10\/goodwin-biden-5.jpg?quality=75&amp;strip=all 1024w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/10\/goodwin-biden-5.jpg?quality=75&amp;strip=all&amp;w=512 512w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\"\/><figcaption>Biden salutes as he steps off Marine One upon arrival at Gordons Pond in Delaware on October 21. <\/figcaption><figcaption><span class=\"credit\">MANDEL NGAN\/AFP via Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Merrick Garland is a partisan hack, but not a fool, and he\u2019s not going to let someone else decide the fate of the president who appointed him, a process that would also reveal Garland\u2019s dereliction. So congressional probes are the only option left for now.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Even then, it\u2019s possible Garland will do all he can to obstruct the search for truth. One potential avenue involves closing the Hunter case and sealing crucial evidence, perhaps with a civil settlement or a plea to a minor crime, before the new congress begins in January. FBI whistleblowers have warned congressional Republicans of those outcomes and complained that top Justice officials have been giving Hunter special treatment in the probe, which is now more than 4 years old.\u00a0<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignleft\">\n    <\/aside>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Joe_Jills_two-step\"><\/span>Joe &amp; Jill\u2019s two-step\u00a0<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Another reminder that Hunter could escape with a slap on the wrist came courtesy of the president and first lady themselves. In separate interviews, Joe and Jill Biden went public to claim their son is completely innocent, an unprecedented, orchestrated move that cannot be dismissed as insignificant.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Bidens were surely moved as much by self-interest as parental love. They know the veil on their lucrative Tammany Hall-like schemes could be ripped off by the thorough investigation Republicans have promised.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The chief result would be that Joe Biden\u2019s self-created image as a straight-talking friend of the working class would be shredded to reveal him as a modern equivalent of George Washington Plunkitt. He didn\u2019t have to because he made sure Garland got the message by having aides tell The New York Times that\u2019s what Biden wanted.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The president\u2019s wish was Garland\u2019s command. Trump was soon being investigated on two fronts and the FBI raided his Mar-a-Lago home in the search for government documents.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Only a fool would think that was a coincidence. Lee Zeldin drawing close to Gov. Hochul ended with Hochul\u2019s sudden new ad claiming she is committed to public safety.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Zeldin has made the surge in violent crime his defining issue and successfully pinned the blame on Hochul and other Albany Dems. That she felt the need to push back so late in the race means her own polls reveal that Zeldin is striking a nerve with voters of all kinds, including Democrats.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Alas, the ad, like Hochul\u2019s performance, is mostly fluff. Her promise that \u201cYou deserve to feel safe, and as your governor, I won\u2019t stop working until you do,\u201d would be persuasive if there was evidence to back<br \/>it up.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>But she makes no promises to do anything differently, citing only secondary things she has already done. Those measures had little or no impact on the crime wave spreading across the state, so the ad serves to confirm Zeldin\u2019s criticism she is failing voters on their top concern.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>For example, Hochul refuses sensible requests from Mayor Adams to give judges more discretion in deciding whether to release suspects. She is also fighting his aim of having 16-year-olds who are charged with gun crimes treated as adults in criminal courts instead of family courts.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>If Hochul is serious about safety, she will work with \u00adAdams, not against him.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Ugly_Truth_for_Dems_in_Florida\"><\/span>Ugly Truth for Dems in Florida<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>From <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/fl-gov-candidate-charlie-crists-top-staffer-left-campaign-citing-family-matter-he-was-actually-arrested\">Fox News<\/a>: \u201cFlorida\u2019s Democratic gubernatorial candidate Charlie Crist\u2019s top staffer resigned, citing a \u2018family matter.\u2019 He was actually arrested and charged with domestic violence.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Talk about giving spin a bad name!\u00a0\n                        <\/p><\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
