They concluded that the cover to Cardi B\u2019s 2016 mixtape did not violate plaintiff Kevin Michael Brophy\u2019s rights to privacy.<\/p>\n<div class=\"mobile outerAdHatch\">\n<div class=\"ad-border\">\n<div class=\"innerAdHatch\" inserted=\"shortcode\">\n<div id=\"contentUnit\u201c200\u201d\" class=\"adUnits\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><script>\n                        if(isMobile){\n                            window.catalyst.cmd.push(\"loadAds\", [[\"incontent\", \"contentUnit\u201c200\u201d\", \"section_post_inarticle\"]]);\n                        }\n                    <\/script><br \/>\nBrophy was seeking $5 million in damages for not only the unauthorized use of the photo, but the embarrassment he claims the \u201craunchy\u201d image caused.<\/p>\n<p>The Bronx r<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>er (real name Belcalis Alm\u00e1nzar) shared the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> with her fans shortly after the decision was handed down. \u201cI just won this lawsuit \u2026Im soo emotional right now [happy cry emoji] \u2026I wanna kiss Gods feet right now,\u201d Cardi tweeted. \u201cIM BEYOND GRATEFUL!!!!\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">I just won this lawsuit \u2026Im soo emotional right now \ud83e\udd72\u2026I wanna kiss Gods feet right now \u2026..IM BEYOND GRATEFUL!!!!<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Cardi B (@iamcardib) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/iamcardib\/status\/1583603850950234113?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 21, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>This wasn\u2019t the first time Cardi B got emotional during this short trial. On Wednesday (October 19), she got into a heated exchange with Brophy\u2019s attorney Barry Cappello, with tensions becoming so high the judge threatened a mistrial.<\/p>\n<p>On two separate occasions during the hearing, Judge Cormac Carney dismissed the jurors from the Santa Ana, California courtroom in an attempt to quell the bickering. He decided to use part of a tiger and serpent image he found online, which ended up being a picture of Brophy. He testified that he believes that design to be a core piece of who he is.<\/p>\n<p><iframe style=\"border-radius: 12px\" width=\"100%\" height=\"380\" title=\"Spotify Embed: Gangsta Bitch Music Vol 1\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen allow=\"autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; fullscreen; picture-in-picture\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/embed\/album\/4hRSrC7bRqBqDDSfhe5qRO?utm_source=oembed\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt felt like my Michelangelo was stolen off the wall and just literally ripped off and robbed and just put wherever these people wanted to put it,\u201d he recounted. \u201cIt looks like I\u2019m giving oral sex to somebody that\u2019s not my wife, somebody that\u2019s not my partner, and an image that I never signed off on, ever.<\/p>\n<p>He continued: \u201cBeing a father of two and a devoted husband and a man of faith as well, this goes against everything that I stand for, and I would never ever sign off on something like this.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This is Cardi B\u2019s second legal victory in about a week. She was sentenced to 15 days of community service after pleading guilty to third-degree assault and reckless endangerment \u2014 both of which are misdemeanors.
