Source: TradingView<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"10_million_liquidations_as_Bitcoin_steps_higher\"><\/span>$10 million liquidations as Bitcoin steps higher<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Data from Cointelegraph Markets Pro and <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tradingview.com\/symbols\/BTCUSD\/?exchange=BINANCE\">TradingView<\/a>\u00a0followed BTC\/USD as it spiked above $19,500 as the weekly close <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>roached.<\/p>\n<p>While modest, the $300 move punctuated otherwise <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MatthewHyland_\/status\/1584224211651899392\">flat trading behavior<\/a>, Bitcoin notoriously rangebound on daily timeframes.<\/p>\n<p>Now, hopes were high that the market would offer more solid price action in the coming days, $20,000 remaining out of reach for over a week.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Green week ahead, preferably first closing the current CME gap,&#8221; popular trader Crypto Ed <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Crypto_Ed_NL\/status\/1584256229593214977\/photo\/1\">told<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitter<\/a> followers in an update at the time of writing. <\/p>\n<p>An accompanying chart showed resistance in play around $19,500.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Still moving higher from the green box. Source: Crypto Ed\/ Twitter<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Analytics account On-Chain College meanwhile noted that even such an hourly uptick had managed to spark comparatively large number of liquidations, these setting a multi-day record.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Around $6 million in Bitcoin Short Liquidations over the last hour. This is the highest short liquidation level in 10 days,&#8221; it <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/OnChainCollege\/status\/1584243640695541760\">confirmed<\/a>\u00a0alongside data from on-chain analytics platform CryptoQuant.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.cointelegraph.com\/uploads\/2022-10\/0daead29-2075-46c7-8790-3411629ed505.png\"><figcaption style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>BTC\/USD annotated chart.
