She wouldn\u2019t be reported missing until 2 years later in December 2021. A <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> of administrative errors involving state payments for Harmony to her birth parents \u2014 <strong>Adam Montgomery<\/strong> and his estranged wife <strong>Kayla Montgomery<\/strong> \u2014 made it so police weren\u2019t aware until it was too late\u00a0until\u00a0it was too late.<\/p>\n<p>Both parents were arrested early this year, but on fraud charges unrelated to Harmony\u2019s dis<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>earance. Law enforcement raided the home in which they once resided in June \u2014 removing most notably a refrigerator \u2014 which former <strong>FBI<\/strong> agent <strong>Jennifer Coffindaffer<\/strong> told <em>The Sun<\/em> the same month is usually a move to \u201cmaintain biological evidence\u201d:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cIf they found a body or body parts in a freeze, law enforcement would want to maintain the level of decomposition. I have a really creepy feeling about this. It\u2019s not good.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>So awful\u2026<\/p>\n<p>And now it would seem there\u2019s finally an answer to the world\u2019s question: what happened to the little girl? Attorney <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/general\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"3\" title=\"General\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">General<\/a> <strong>John M. Formella<\/strong> announced in a press conference on Monday that Adam has been arrested and charged with the murder of his daughter. Authorities believe the 32-year-old punched Harmony in the head with a closed fist repeatedly, beating her to death \u201con or about December 7, 2019\u201d. He alleged in the conference Adam \u201cpurposely altered, destroyed, concealed or removed\u201d his daughter\u2019s body sometime between December 2019 and March 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Just sickening. The last thing anyone wanted to hear\u2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>Related: Carly Simon\u2019s Message After Losing BOTH Famous Sisters To Cancer Just One Day Apart<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to legal documents by the <strong>Massachusetts Department of Children and Families<\/strong>, the girl was bounced between her mother\u2019s care and the department for most of her life. She was officially placed in custody of her father in 2019, even though his brother recently revealed Montgomery was physically abusive to the girl in the past \u2014 recalling how he \u201cbashed her around the house\u201d in summer 2019 for causing her baby brother to cry when she was supposed to be watching him. He also made her stand in the corner for hours and scrub the toilet with a toothbrush. The decision to place her in the care of her allegedly abusive father would lead to the alleged murder. So sad\u2026<\/p>\n<p>The dad is being charged with second degree murder, falsifying physical evidence, abuse of corpse, and tampering with witnesses or informants. Unrelated to his daughter\u2019s death, he\u2019s being charged with felony theft and being a felon in possession of a firearm. He\u2019s expected to be arraigned on the charges on Tuesday. Harmony\u2019s remains have sadly yet to be found.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the press conference on Monday, AG Formella sent his condolences to the family:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cToday, I do want to again express my deepest sympathies to Harmony\u2019s family, friends and loved ones. We understand that today\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a>, while significant for purposes of this investigation, is yet another difficult moment for those who loved Harmony and those who have followed this case.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Such a gut-wrenching outcome\u2026 We were all hoping she\u2019d be found safe\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Our hearts are with Harmony\u2019s family and loved ones right now.
