\n Dozens of Black Lives Matter protesters gathered outside New York City Police Benevolent Association President Pat Lynch\u2019s Queens home Wednesday night \u2014 following the union\u2019s endorsement last week of President Trump in November\u2019s election.<\/p>\n

The demonstration was met by a swarm of NYPD officers, who set up barricades blocking off Lynch\u2019s quiet, tree-lined street in Bayside, video posted on Twitter<\/a> shows.<\/p>\n

At least two dozen officers and supervisors looked on as a speaker slammed Lynch through a megaphone during the hour-long protest.<\/p>\n

At one point, the crowd shouts \u201cNYPD, suck my d\u2013k\u201d and \u201call cops are bastards,\u201d other video shows.<\/p>\n

Lynch, a fierce opponent of police reform, said protesters were wasting their time.<\/p>\n

\u201cNew York City police officers will protect your right to protest wherever it can be done safely and legally, including in front of my house,\u201d he said in a statement. \u201cBut these protestors should realize they are wasting their time. Their campaign of harassment and intimidation might have the politicians running scared, but it will have zero impact on the PBA.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt also isn\u2019t helping New Yorkers who feel under siege after months of brutal violence on our streets. Our neighborhoods want cops focused on stopping the bloodshed, not wrangling a bunch of protestors who biked in from Manhattan.\u201d<\/p>\n

Last week, Lynch announced the PBA\u2019s full-throated endorsement of Trump.<\/p>\n

\u201cI cannot remember when we\u2019ve ever endorsed for the president of the United States until now \u2014 that\u2019s how important this is,\u201d he said at an event with Trump at the president\u2019s Bedminster, New Jersey golf resort.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe need your strong voice across the country,\u201d Lynch added.\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
