However, the students must get <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>roval from respective school principals for attendance via metaverse schooling, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www3.nhk.or.jp\/nhkworld\/en\/news\/20221027_30\/\" data-amp=\"https:\/\/www3-nhk-or-jp.cdn.ampproject.org\/c\/s\/www3.nhk.or.jp\/nhkworld\/en\/news\/20221027_30\/amp.html\">confirms<\/a> local <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a> NHK.<\/p>\n<p>Government data <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.japantimes.co.jp\/news\/2022\/10\/28\/national\/school-absence-record-japan-2022\/\">showed<\/a> that 244,940 Japanese elementary and junior high school students were absent for at least 30 days in FY 2021. NHK\u2019s report highlighted a fifth grader\u2019s interest in chatting online instead of attending school in person. While the child has not physically attended school in over two years, they shared an interest in meeting up with friends to play outdoor <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a>s, such as tag.<\/p>\n<p>While ongoing efforts to improve school attendance remain a challenge, Japanese officials are placing their bets on metaverse schooling to help students connect with the people around them.<\/p>\n<p>Sugimori Masayuki, the head of Toda\u2019s education center, hopes to see metaverse students grow up and eventually live independently in society.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Related: <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>Japan\u2019s International Payments System will test plastic cards for CBDC<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The city of Fukuoka announced a collaboration with Astar Japan Labs as it strives to become the Web3 hub of Japan.<\/p>\n<p>The mayor of Fukuoka, Soichiro Takashima, confirmed the city\u2019s aspirations to lead the Web3 drive, as he stated:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWe have to do in the context of Web3 what large companies did for the world when Japan was strong.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Astar Network founder Sota Watanabe revealed his intentions to \u201cwork closely with Fukuoka City to attract more developers and more entrepreneurs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><template data-name=\"subscription_form\" data-type=\"markets_outlook\"><\/template><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
