Though as <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.brickfanatics.com\/lego-discontinuing-mindstorms-end-of-2022\/\"><em>BrickSet<\/em><\/a> reports, software support for MINDSTORMS will continue for at least two years.<\/p>\n<p>We aren\u2019t surprised by this <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a>. LEGO hasn\u2019t launched a MINDSTORMS kit since\u00a0the <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/click.linksynergy.com\/deeplink?id=2QzUaswX1as&amp;mid=13923&amp;u1=rg\/134706|xid:{xid}&amp;murl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.lego.com%2Fen-us%2Fproduct%2Frobot-inventor-51515&amp;___trxnet=ls\">Robot Inventor<\/a> (51515) launched in 2020. Plus, most schools use LEGO\u2019s newer robotics platform, the education-focused <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/click.linksynergy.com\/deeplink?id=2QzUaswX1as&amp;mid=13923&amp;u1=rg\/134706|xid:{xid}&amp;murl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.lego.com%2Fen-us%2Fproduct%2Flego-education-spike-prime-set-45678&amp;___trxnet=ls\">SPIKE Prime<\/a>\u2014we haven\u2019t heard any exciting MINDSTORMS news in a very long time.<\/p>\n<p>But it\u2019s still disappointing to see MINDSTORMS\u2019 death. Unlike SPIKE Prime, which is under the thumb of LEGO Education, MINDSTORMS was a <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/general\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"3\" title=\"General\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">general<\/a>ly-available product. Adults could easily access and build MINDSTORMS kits, and in-person events often encouraged people to build MINDSTORMS robots together.<\/p>\n<p>LEGO says that it will funnel the MINDSTORMS team into \u201cdifferent areas of the business.\u201d Presumably, some members of the MINDSTORMS team will work on SPIKE Prime, while others may build LEGO sets intended for adults, such as the over-engineered\u00a0LEGO Mighty Bowser or LEGO Motorized Lighthouse.<\/p>\n<p>At the time of writing, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/click.linksynergy.com\/deeplink?id=2QzUaswX1as&amp;mid=13923&amp;u1=rg\/134706|xid:{xid}&amp;murl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.lego.com%2Fen-us%2Fproduct%2Frobot-inventor-51515&amp;___trxnet=ls\">LEGO\u2019s final MINDSTORMS kit<\/a> is sold out.
