Fidelity researcher explains &#8220;<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h1>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/images.cointelegraph.com\/images\/840_aHR0cHM6Ly9zMy5jb2ludGVsZWdyYXBoLmNvbS91cGxvYWRzLzIwMjItMTEvZGU0Yzk5ZTAtMjZmYS00NDQ4LTgwMzctZjY0MzEwZTkyZjZmLmpwZw==.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div class=\"post-content\" data-v-4b69a2fe>Institutions&#8217; investment in crypto has increased in 2022 despite the bear market, according to a recent survey by Fidelity Digital Assets.\u00a0In particular, the amount of large investors betting on Ethereum have doubled in the last two years, as revelead by\u00a0Chris Kuiper, the Head of Research at Fidelity Digital Assets in a recent interview with Cointelegraph. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe percentage of respondents saying they were invested in Ethereum doubled from two years ago\u201d, pointed out Kuiper.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Kuiper pointed out that Ethereum\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>eal in the eyes of institutions is likely to increase even more now that after the Merge, Ether has become a more environmentally friendly, yield-bearing asset. <\/p>\n<p>In <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/general\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"3\" title=\"General\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">general<\/a>, according to the same survey, institutional players are accumulating crypto despite the crypto bear market. At the end of the second half of 2022, 58% of the institutions surveyed were holding cryptocurrencies, a 6 percent increase from last year.
