Bezos also has a big connection with the league already. Amazon is now the exclusive broadcaster for \u201cThursday Night Football\u201d this season, which marks the first streaming-only option in league history.<\/p>\n<p>Now, there have been rumors that Bezos has wanted an NFL team for some time. He did not attempt to purchase the Denver Broncos earlier this year, however. That made Walton the league\u2019s richest owner with an estimated net worth of more than $59 billion.<\/p>\n<p>Bezos would shatter that mark should he take over the Commanders. He currently has an estimated net worth of $171 billion, which is second in the world to only Tesla owner and new <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitter<\/a> boss Elon Musk.<\/p>\n<p>Dan and Tanya Snyder announced earlier this week that they have hired BofA Securities to \u201cconsider potential transactions\u201d regarding <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/sports.yahoo.com\/commanders-owner-dan-snyder-exploring-all-options-in-possible-sale-of-team-161350372.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:the possible sale of the Commanders;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\">the possible sale of the Commanders<\/a>. The Commanders have denied those allegations.<\/p>\n<p>The Commanders were valued at about $5.6 billion <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/mikeozanian\/2022\/08\/22\/nfl-team-values-2022-dallas-cowboys-are-the-first-franchise-worth-8-billion\/?sh=669a51806365\" data-ylk=\"slk:by Forbes earlier this year\" class=\"link \">by Forbes earlier this year<\/a>, which made them the sixth-most valuable franchise in the league. The Dallas Cowboys topped the list at about $8 billion.<\/p>\n<p>Many expect that, if the Snyders do sell, they would set a new record for sale price.<\/p>\n<p>There are other rumored parties interested in buying the Commanders. According to The Washington Post, the list includes Musk, Washington Wizards and Capitals owner Ted Leonsis, Clearlake Capital co-founders Behdad Eghbali and Jose E. Feliciano and media entrepreneur Byron Allen.
