\n If anyone<\/em> should have been ready for a stealthy attack\u2026<\/p>\n

A ninja museum in Japan was relieved of more than $9,400 by a bandit who pulled off a sneaky late-night heist \u2014 then slipped away undetected, according to a report.<\/p>\n

The covert crook swooped in to steal a heavy locked safe from an office at the Iga-ryu Ninja Museum in the Mie Prefecture at around 1:30 a.m. Monday, according to Kyodo News<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The thief forced open the office entrance with a crowbar, and set off the building\u2019s alarm \u2014 but bolted before cops arrived five minutes later.<\/p>\n

The safe, which weighed roughly 150 pounds, contained cash entrance fees of roughly 1,100 visitors, the museum said.<\/p>\n

The popular tourist attraction includes a section that teaches visitors how to train like a ninja with \u201cshuriken\u201d \u2014 throwing stars \u2014 and is based an area that\u2019s home to one of history\u2019s most famous ninja clans.<\/p>\n

The bandit seems to have a ninja-like ability to fly under the radar \u2014 as no suspects had been reported arrested Thursday.\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
